We are providers for most major medical insurances in Connecticut. Please check your specific plan's requirements for coverage, co-pays, deductibles, number of well-visits allowed per year, audiology and vision screening and lab testing site preferences, and prior authorization requirements for medications and referrals. As of 2020, we now provide telemedicine services where appropriate. Please check with your insurance plan to see if you are covered for this additional service provided within the medical home.
Our receptionists will update demographic information, request a copy of your child's insurance card and collect required co-payments at each visit. Please review our updated Financial Policy available upon check in at the front desk.
In 2014, we brought billing back in house under the direction of our front office manager, Cindy Shaw. We are able to review patient account details efficiently and electronically at the time of service. This allows us to better serve our families' financial needs and address billing questions and concerns in person with appreciation for each families' unique insurance and financial situations.
