Parents, if your child is 18 years or older, Newtown Center Pediatrics will need written consent from your child in order to communicate with you about your child’s medical needs.
You can have your pharmacy send us a request electronically for frequently refilled medication. It is best to plan ahead and have a few days supply in case the pharmacist needs to order your medication if it’s out of stock.
(Note we will not call in antibiotics without first examining your child.)
If we refer your child to a specialist for a medical concern addressed at an office visit, please call your insurance carrier to see if the specialist is in network with your plan and if an insurance referral is needed.
